What is Symas FarmTrack?+

Symas FarmTrack is a cloud-based farm management platform built for livestock farmers in Ghana and across Africa. It lets you track your animals, monitor health and breeding records, manage feed and medications, record finances, and generate reports — all from your phone or computer.

How do I sign up?+

Click Get Started and fill in the registration form with your name, farm name, email, and the type of livestock you manage. Your application will be reviewed by our admin team, who will then send your login credentials to your email — usually within 24 hours.

How long does account activation take?+

Account activation is done manually by our admin team and typically takes less than 24 hours. Once activated, you will receive your username and password by email. If you haven't heard from us within 24 hours, please WhatsApp us at +233 24 042 5561.

Which animals does FarmTrack support?+

FarmTrack currently supports the following livestock:

  • 🐷 Pigs
  • 🐄 Cattle
  • 🐐 Goats
  • 🐑 Sheep
  • 🐔 Other (poultry and custom species coming soon)

You can manage multiple species under one account.

Where do I log in to the farm portal?+

The farm management portal is at portal.symasfarmtrack.com. Use the username and password sent to you by our admin team when your account was activated.

How does the 30-day free trial work?+

Once your account is activated by our admin team, your 30-day free trial begins automatically. During this period you have full access to every feature — animal records, health logs, breeding, finance, and reports — at no cost. No credit card required.

What happens when my trial expires?+

When your 30-day trial ends, your account automatically switches to read-only mode. You can still log in and view all your farm records, animal history, and reports — but you will not be able to add, edit, or delete records until you upgrade to a paid plan. Your data is never deleted.

How do I upgrade after my trial?+

We will activate your full access within a few hours of payment confirmation.

What plans are available?+

We offer three plans — Starter, Pro, and Enterprise — to suit individual farmers, growing farms, and agribusinesses. Full pricing details are on our pricing page. All plans include the same core features; higher plans add more animals, users, and priority support.

Will I lose my data if I don't upgrade?+

No. Your data is never deleted due to an expired trial. You will remain in read-only mode indefinitely until you choose to upgrade. We retain data for at least 90 days even for closed accounts.

Can I track animal health and medications?+

Yes. FarmTrack lets you log health events (vaccinations, treatments, vet visits), set medication schedules, and track individual animal health histories over time. You can also set reminders for upcoming treatments.

Does FarmTrack handle breeding records?+

Yes. You can record breeding events (mating dates, sire and dam), track pregnancy progress, and log births. FarmTrack automatically calculates expected delivery dates and alerts you when they are approaching.

Can I manage farm finances in FarmTrack?+

Yes. The finance module lets you record income (animal sales, produce) and expenses (feed, medications, labour, equipment). You can view summaries, profit/loss reports, and filter by date range or category.

Can I export my farm data?+

Yes. You can export your animal records, health logs, and financial summaries from the portal. We recommend exporting your data regularly as a backup. If you need a full data export in a specific format, contact us at info@symasfarmtrack.com.

Can multiple people use one farm account?+

Currently each farm has one login. Multi-user support with role-based access (farm manager, worker, viewer) is on our roadmap and coming in a future update. Contact us if this is a priority for your operation.

Does FarmTrack work on mobile phones?+

Yes. The portal is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. You can access it from any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox — on Android or iOS. A dedicated mobile app is planned for a future release.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?+

Use the Forgot Password link on the portal login page. Enter your registered email address and a reset link will be sent to you. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact us at info@symasfarmtrack.com.

Can I change my username?+

Usernames are set during registration and cannot be changed by users directly. If you need your username changed, contact us at info@symasfarmtrack.com and we will update it for you.

How do I delete my account?+

Email us at info@symasfarmtrack.com with your username and a request to close your account. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days. Your data will be permanently deleted after 90 days as per our Privacy Policy.

Is my farm data secure?+

Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted). Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — we never store plain-text passwords. Your farm data is stored on secure Hostinger servers and is never shared or sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What browsers are supported?+

FarmTrack works on all modern browsers: Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported. For the best experience, keep your browser updated to the latest version.

Do I need internet to use FarmTrack?+

Yes, FarmTrack is a cloud-based platform and requires an internet connection. Offline support is on our roadmap. For now, mobile data (2G or higher) is sufficient to use the platform on a smartphone.
